"How long does certification take?"
The course videos can be completed at your own pace. Once you're ready for assessment, the feedback and case study process typically takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months depending on how quickly you want to get certified.
"What if I can't master the technique?"
Certified students get one-to-one feedback on their video submissions, so Emma can spot exactly what needs adjustment. Most students feel confident after the first couple of weeks. Plus you'll have ongoing access to our community for troubleshooting.
"Is there demand for sugaring in my area?"
Sugaring is still relatively unknown in the UK, which means you can be the first to offer it locally. Clients with sensitive skin, eczema, or previous bad wax reactions are actively searching for gentler alternatives - now you can serve them.
"Is £695 worth it?"
A single client paying for a leg wax or Brazilian typically runs £40–£70. Ten clients covers your full investment. Most students recoup the course cost within their first month of taking bookings - and the kit alone is worth £269.
A little insight to our founder
I started my career in Financial Services before discovering Sugaring in my 30s. The gentle, natural approach became my passion immediately.
I founded Green & Gold Sugar in 2023 to provide comprehensive training and ongoing support for beauty professionals learning Sugaring. I also serve as the Sugaring Expert for WorldSkills UK, mentoring Squad UK for the Beauty Therapy competition at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
I built this because I wanted women to have a real route into a career that works on their terms - not a qualification that leaves them guessing what to do next.
